The society is committed to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Awareness. Its purpose is to lower the incidence of FASD throughout the region by supporting our communities through education and advocacy.
Society Information
- The Northwest Regional FAS Committee was formed in 1997 and became incorporated as a Society in 2003.
- The Society was featured in two Alberta Publications*:
- The Society serves the northwest region of Alberta
- In order to effectively meet our goals and reduce FASD incidence rates in our communities, we require the participation and cooperation of agencies, interested individuals and communities.
