Education and Capacity Building

We provide FASD education and training to individuals, professionals, agencies, and communities to increase understanding of FASD and build the capacity to provide informed, supportive, and inclusive services.

FASD Education and Training

We offer FASD-specific education and training to help community members, organizations, and service providers better understand FASD, recognize how it can affect individuals, and learn practical ways to provide effective support.

Our Pebbles training provides FASD-specific education for community organizations and agencies. We also provide education tailored to the needs of the groups we work with.

If you or your organization is interested in receiving FASD specific training please contact our office for more information.

Lunch and Learns

Our Lunch & Learns, led by our FASD Educator, provide opportunities to learn about specific FASD-related topics in an accessible and practical format. Topics can be tailored to current community needs and areas of interest. For information regarding our upcoming Lunch and Learns please visit our Facebook page or our Calendar.

Professional and Community Capacity Building

Through initiatives such as the WRaP 2.0 Project, we support professionals and students in developing their knowledge and understanding of FASD. Our education helps service providers consider how their practices, environments, and systems can better respond to the strengths and needs of individuals with FASD.

We also use community education and awareness initiatives, such as the Let's Get Real Campaign, to challenge misconceptions and stigma surrounding FASD and promote greater understanding throughout our communities.

Our goal is to build communities where people understand FASD, recognize the strengths of individuals with FASD, and feel better equipped to provide meaningful and appropriate support.
